Eclipse is available in hardtop and convertible(Spyder) options. The Mitsubishi Eclipse is offered in base GS, GS Sport and GT trim levels. All are front-wheel drive and share their basic platform with the Galant sedan.
The GS Sport adds a sunroof, xenon headlights, foglights, heated leather front seats, heated power mirrors, a six-way power driver seat, Bluetooth and a nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate sound system with six-CD changer, satellite radio, auxiliary audio jack and steering wheel controls. The GT adds a standard V6 engine, a bigger rear stabilizer bar, bigger rear brakes, large rear spoiler and automatic climate control. The Spyder includes a power convertible roof.
